We are South Africans and activists for our new South Africa. At Izulu Orphan Projects our whole aim is to school, feed, clothe and love as many orphan kids as possible. Over the last 4 years, we have done an Orphan Christmas Party which lead to the starting of Izulu Orphan Projects. In 2002 we catered for 80 orphans with the figures multiply to 2005 when we catered for 500 orphans. We also have been able to school 70 orphans from the proceeds of the orphan party and from further donations. We have a growing desperate need that we see everyday around us and we are committed to doing all we can to make a difference.
Our main objectives are to: ~ Look after and provide a home for orphans in their distress (James 1 vs 27). ~ Raise the orphans to become educated, confident and self-sufficient adults. ~ School the orphans who rely on Izulu Orphan Projects. ~ To feed the orphan villages and to help them grow fruit and vegetables to be self-sustaining. ~ To teach the orphans about agriculture. ~ To set up cluster homes to have the orphans living in the best family environment possible.
